Film Scraps
My mother grew up in the little northern Wyoming town of Lovell.  As in so many small American towns in the 1930s, the movies were the major regular source of entertainment.  My grandmother had a set of beautiful cobalt blue glass plates, and another of pink glass dessert goblets and plates, premiums given away by the local theater.

Grama didn't have much respect for old things, so she got rid of the dishes before I had a chance to call dibs on them, but my mother tucked away several promotional handouts for movies that were shown locally, and she passed those on to me.  You can see some of them by clicking the links below.  I have only a couple up, for now, but will be adding more as I get a chance to scan and upload them. -Sara
