My personal preference is for the American Quarter Horse, but there's a lot to admire in Arabian horses, too. It happens that I lived near an enormously popular annual Arabian horse event, where I sometimes took pictures. None of these horses was mine. None of these people was known to me personally. They are just some of my memories. |

As you can probably tell, I like cutting. It's one of the few horse show classes in which tha animal does real, practical, honest-to-gosh work. Who wins doesn't depend on showy tack or costumes, just on good, sound work. It just requires a horse that really knows its stuff and a rider who knows enough to sit on his pockets and mind his own business. |
