I shall never forget those days As we walked the Jersey shore We made so many footprints Then we made some more |

Two precious babies had I With tiny little feet They often smiled at strangers With their laughter they would greet |

Sand castles of sand they built They both loved the water; intrigued in play As I sat there and worried some Lord, watch over them I pray |

Soon those footprints grew They were not little any more They loved to surf and fish now Along the Jersey shore |

Now they are full grown men Leaving footprints in th sand They never knew they left heartprints Around the world and their homeland |

We've travel different roads Each has a part of my heart it seems Now I pray once more, Dear God Please fulfill their hopes and dreams |
