Little Angels Family Daycare

 
Hi, my name is Nena and I am a home childcare provider located in Sterling, Illinois about 2 miles north of town. Sterling is about an hour south of Rockford.  I have two children ages 12 and 15.  I have over 15 years of childcare experience and have taken many courses in Early Childhood Education, through my courses I have earned 88 credits in Early Childhood Education and have a ECE degree from Sauk Valley Community College.  In addition, I have earned two CDA's;child development credentials, which, along with my college courses in Early Childhood, qualify me to teach ages birth to age 5. I am currently enrolled at Kendall College to achieve my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.I hope to graduate there in 2010. 

I first opened my home daycare in December of 2000. I wanted to provide quality child care in a small group setting rather that a large group as I worked in many daycare centers.

Currently, I AM CLOSED DUE TO PERSONAL REASONS as of September 15th, 2008.  . 
My home offers the experience of being loved and hugged and reading books together, art, outside play, cooking and many toys to learn and play with and much more that interests the children and meets their needs.
