What exactly is award?

Webster defines award as
"to give in recognition or achievement"
or in the ~ noun ~ form; an "outward symbol"
of great accomplishments.

What does all that mean?
For me, the award i receieve that means
the most, is the priviledge and honour
of coming into each of your lives;
sharing a ~ small moment in time ~.

A smile, a laugh, and yes;
sometimes perhaps a teardrop or two.
Shared between two old friends;
the writer and the many many cherished
~ heartstrings ~ out there.

We have come together so briefly,
you and i. But it is my hope
that you will perhaps visit me again soon.
Together, once again, sharing that wonderful
~ journey ~ down life's enchanting paths.

You, my dear friends, are the "true" award.
For your compassion, love, beauty, and
heart-spoken words of praise this
writer receives are what begins
the building of ~ heartstrings ~
across my Father's world.

An "outward symbol" for recognition
of achievement.
