Lord of the Rings is the greatest book/films ever!
It is full of Elves, Men, Dwarves, Hobbits, Ents, Wizards, Orcs, Nazgul (Ringwraiths, Black Riders), etc etc.
It’s a huge fantasy adventure battle thing between good and evil.
Th general gist of it is that the evil dark lord sauron who was defeated but not destroyed, cos his life force is connected to the one ring, which wasn’t destroyed, has stared to rise to power again and to regain his full strength and power needs his ring back. The ring now however belongs to a hobbit called Frodo Baggins. As the ring barer he has the task of destroying the ring and generally saving middle earth. Along the way he meets different types of elves, men, dwarves, wizards, etc and a fellowship is formed. The fellowship is made up of four hobbits-Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Merry. Two men – Aragron and Boromir. One Elf- Legolas. One Dwarf- Gimli. And one wizard-Gandalf the Grey.
They all set out to help Frodo to complete his task of deastroying the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom!
To find out more and what happens, read the books as the not all the films have been released yet and they don’t do all of the book- such as Tom Bombadil! But go and see the films as well cos they are fantastic!
