The call came in Like any other They didn’t know What was coming They rushed to the scene Gasping in surprise They ran to the tower To save as many lives Flames were leaping out Of the tower Then with no warning Another plane hits its twin People started to panic Calling for loved ones While still trapped inside Those BURNING towers Heroes started to form With no question or thought There were lives that need saving No matter what fame it brought One tower fell Then the second Killing so many Including, sisters and brothers Days later after all has been calmed The people keep coming To try to clean up The destruction that was left By the heartless terrorists Bodies were found Some only legs and arms Our heroic Police and Firefighters Too many had to die So I write this today In remembrance of those Heroic Men and Women Firefighters and Police That died that day Trying to save all those lives With no question of their OWN Dedicated to my Dad, Firefighter Author: ~ELM~ Copyright © 2002 All Rights Reserved |
