But how did they end up that way?!
The beginning of Craig and Rosanna's relationship was purely lust and attraction. He was still mainly chasing after and obsessed with Carly, Ro's half-sister. It was like that for a while. However, Craig and Rosanna got to know each other better and realized they were very much alike. For months over the summer they dated and had some fights. They did break up a couple of times. Rosanna was the first to discover that she was in love with Craig, but it didn't seem like Craig felt the same way. Most of the men that Ro had been with before returning to town only loved her money and didn't care about her or her feelings. It seemed as if Craig was almost the same way, although Ro's money was never a factor or issue. Rosanna never brought up her feelings for him until months later when she needed a hysterectomy. She needed Craig there with her, but was afraid of Craig's reaction. Craig found out from Carly sbout the operation and rushed to Rosanna's side. She was still angry at him for something about Carly, and he was concerned about her operation. I think that's when he discovered his love for Rosanna. Well they hashed it all out, and Rosanna realized just how much Craig needs and cares for her. While she recovered in the hospital, Craig was there for her. He was there when she first woke up after having the surgery. He let his true feelings for her shine through. Her feelings were shining, too. They admitted that they love each other there, and Craig proposed to Rosanna a few days after she proposed to him and then took it back. They even talked about their insecurities of marrying each other. Sometime later they were apart briefly, made up, and Craig gave her an engagement ring.
So, that's it! They love each other and will, hopefully, make it to the alter to be married.
Craig: I need you. I need --- Ineed the way you look at me like that. So that's why I'm here --- because you matter to me. And I'm not going to let you go through this alone. All right, so just forgive me long enough to get you to the hospital and get you through the surgery, okay?
Rosanna: I thought you had Lucy to look after.
Craig: Well, luckily enough, you're both in the same hospital. So I don't have to add a commute. All right? So ---
Rosanna: No, no. Wait a second. Can I have a hug?
Rosanna: Right. You had family. That's good. Family's good.
Craig: You have me, Rosanna. You have me.
Craig: ...You're wonderful.
Rosanna: Yes, I am.
Craig: Yeah.
Rosanna: Don't you forget that...
Craig: Well, when you finally told me about your operation, I couldn't let you go through that alone. And I realized just how much I care about you.
Rosanna: Would you say it? Cared about me or loved me?
Craig: Well, both.
Rosanna: Say it.
Craig: You want me to say I love you?
Rosanna: Yeah.
Craig: All right. Listen carefully, because I'd hate for you to miss a single word of this, all right? Okay? I -- love -- you.
Rosanna: That's nice.
Craig: Well, you'd better be careful what you ask for, sweet cheeks. 'Cause if you want me all to yourself, that might be what you get.
Rosanna: Well, I would love every minute. of it.
