It is really and truly possible to waste an entire day,
To do absolutely nothing but watch time fly away.
And if anyone comes near you, all you have to do,
Is simply look busy, which is what they’re doing too.
The art of looking busy is not a difficult task,
Although no-one ever shows you how and there’s no-one you can ask.
You have to learn the process, improve your style each day.
That way no-one will ever guess you’re just whistling the hours away.
I often spend the day doing absolutely nowt,
But catching up on personal emails and generally looking about.
Doing work is overrated and my mission statement is now,
‘Do as little work as possible, be a lazy cow’!
So follow my lead if you dare, sit and do bugger all!
Don’t work through your ‘to-do’ list or take a single call.
The only time you should take a detour from this brand new task,
Is when you’re boss comes near you, then work and kiss their ass.
