Trillians Rock Bar

So when my local rock bar Trillians announced they would be playing host to Samantha 7 you knew I was gonna be there right? ;-)
I went to the bar in the afternoon with my friend Toni & there I was standing at the bar ordering us drinks, when who should come up beside me & ask where the dressing room was...OMG You guessed it Mr Rock N' Roll himself C.C DeVille!
After finishing off our drinks, Toni & I got talking to Derrick (Who was playing with Great White & helping Samantha 7 out) & he told us all about the tour so far :-)
Trillians closed & reopened with a door fee so after going to get food we returned for the gig
WOW.....It has to go down as one of the best shows I have ever seen (& thats quite an accolade - trust me!) C.C, Krys, Ty & of course Derrick had the crowd right where they wanted them from the opening song "HOLLYWOOD & VINE" After performing that number C.C asked why there was a 14" gap between the front row & him - It was soon filled :-)
I had to duck twice to avoid getting hit with his plectrum never mind his guitar!, but ya know I was in Rock N Roll heaven so flying guitars didn't bother me at all!!!!!!
C.C introduced the songs with his familiar sense of humour, telling us "FRAMED" was wrote about an ex-girlfriend of his that used to work as a dominatrix & was only "available" through the day "Hello Alarm - bells" LOL
And he told us how he had always wanted to sing lead on a Poison track so went to Bret & said "Bret if I right a love song about you , can I sing it?", Bret agreed & so C.C wrote "I HATE EVERY BONE IN YOUR BODY BUT MINE"!!
Fans were brought on stage for a Poison Karaoke, which was not only interesting (C.C actually shouted of me to get up on the stage cos I knew all the words!) But good fun for everyone up there, that included, "TALK DIRTY", "LOOK WHAT THE CAT DRAGGED IN" & "NOTHIN' BUT A GOOD TIME"
After the show we were lucky enough to hang out with Derrick for a bit & he got us autographs (THANK YOU Derrick!!!) The night ended all too soon though I gotta 'fess the gig wore me out LOL the energy the guys put into the show was unbelievable & I guess they had to go for a well earned rest before the next show in Liverpool.
