One Wild Week
We survived!!!!!

The week (well…9 days) started with another mad panic of delayed trains and missed connections on a sunny (oh yeah…they happen at times!!) July 20th in the UK.
We…..btw let me introduce ppl here…We, at this point, are Myself, Suey, Melissa and Jaz aka the Fab four (will explain that one day!) …….well…..we arrived in Newark on time and headed off to collect the rental car….many hours later we are still in the queue – seems that the world and his wife want to hire a car at the same time as we did!!!  Even though we pre-booked we eventually found that the car we had booked was not available. Nice chappie at the counter offered any other car that we wanted – after deciding that we would not get all of the luggage in a convertible we opted for the mini-van.  Now…lemme explain here…we are not used to vehicles of this size never mind having to drive this thing whilst trying to concentrate on stayin on the correct side of the road (drive on the right, drive on the right, drive on the right – which side is it Suey ?????  J)  ps…it was actually a very nice car kinda thingy to drive..but shhhhh
Finally, 10pm…( we landed at 6pm!!!) we are loaded up and ready to go…..Pittsburgh here we come….well kinda…we got lost……(can ya say Newark to Pittsburgh via Philly city centre???!!!!!!!!)
Many hours, tunes and a few rest stops later we find our hotel (oh yeah…like 6am!) – the girls stayed up and went for brekkie – however after driving through the night and on top of a days flying I was ready to hit the sack big time!!
After catchin up on some sleep..and checkin out the nearby mall (nice nails suey hon!!) we are ready for the show.  A few phone calls later and I finally get hold  of Sandy-im-wearing-the-hat-and-walking-towards-you!! – yep…we were on the phone trying to find each other and only 20 paces away from each other  D’uh!!!
The show…Im not going to review it, there are enough out there already, suffice to say it was a good show and we enjoyed it!!!
Sunday sees us all head over to Hershey with Sandy leading the way!!! Everyone makes it and we checkin to the hotel and meet up with Deb (mom) Regina, Shari, Melany and Mr Bluesman.  Interconnecting rooms rock.
The show…again I’m not doing a review, however I would say this was the weakest show out of the ones I have seen…but it was still a good show regardless.
After hanging out after the show with ppls at the Hershey Lodge, we head back to the hotel…..and the Vodka is opened…………
OK we are up to Monday….breakfast??? whats that??? – oh yeah..it’s the thing you manage to attend when you have NOT been drinkin Vodka until silly o’clock!!!!
Hershey park here we come!! A whole day on the rides woooooooo hoooooooooo and when they say you will get wet they are not lying… Soaked through to the skin..literally!!!  That night we meet up with Kat and Amanda (and you thought WE got lost…we had to send a search party for them!!!!!)
Tuesday sees us head over towards Philly and after checkin into the hotel we head for somebodys (!!!! Sorry cant remember the name) landing to get the ferry to the Camen show. No change here..not going to review the show….except to say WOW ITS ALEC!!! Good to see him.
Interesting points to note….The bar in the hotel next door is open until 2am….the convenience store along the road is 12 miles away (according to MrBluesman it is anyway!!!!!) however we managed to walk it in half an hour at 3am……btw..Shari thanks for the lift back to the hotel!!!
Wednesday sees some ppl shopping and some sleepin in after the late night the night before and then everyone meeting at Reginas house for a chilled late afternoon/early evening. The group has swelled at this point to include Maryann and Luca.  Its back to the hotel bar (ps…I got carded!! – Ive not been asked for proof of ID for years….hehehe….should I be flattered that I was asked or annoyed that I had to go alllllll the way back to my hotel to get my passport as proof???!!!! Lol)
Thursday we split up with some ppl heading over to see Jons house and various other sights on the way and some heading over to the Embassy Suites,  but not before dropping by the Mall  - which resulted in Mr Bluesman purchasing the disco ball and making the decision that his room was going to be Party Central at the Embassy!!!
From here on this group kinda disperses - too many ppl with different things that they wanna do for everyone to hang together all the time.
