I make cakes for a hobby!! hehehe...what else can I say! Im self taught and became interested after watching my mum produce some stunning cakes herself. Jeannie B - thankyou for putting up with a kitchen that looked like a bomb had hit it when I was in mid-cake production!!
I don't have set cakes that I work with, basically I just work to order although some of the more popular cakes I have done many times over (ok..is the Teletubby craze over yet????) As most of the cakes are a unique shape I simply bake a square cake and then start sculpting!!! I have made all the flowers shown on these pictures by hand in icing - and yes...it takes hours!!!!.
