War kills people, and it never seems to kill the people that apparently needed killing in the first place. It destroys lives, jobs, homes and costs so much money, so why is it there are so many wars in the world??
At any given time there are over 70 wars going on throughout the world. Surprised?? You shouldn't be. Only the wars that are profitable make the news these days. When did it happen that war is such a profitable enterprise?. First go in kill people and destroy everything, then hand out contacts to people to rebuild.
I certainly don't agree with the actions of Bin Ladan etc and think what he does is the lowest form of depravity but i watched with interest his life story. From a child who loved american westerns and peace to a mass murderer... how did it happen??
Every person has a responsiblity to make sure that society does not reproduce the Bin Ladens, Hitlers and Power Hungry Politians that are prevalant today.
How do we do this??
Well pay attention and keep reading these pages. It is my intention to help show there is another way, war is NOT the only solution and killing in the name of ANY god is not acceptable.
I admit I was once aiming for power in the worst way, didn't care about who was in my way.
There is nothing wrong with succeeding but if you have to lie and cheat to get there, it is a hollow victory indeed.
Power corrupts. We have all heard the saying and now we can see first hand what it means. Americans elected a man who had a debt to settle with Iraq to power and he has helped all his friends get very rich. But what about all the body bags that come back from Iraq?? Does he care?? No infact he reduced the pay for soldiers in deployment fighting the war they shouldn't be fighting, killing people who are not terrorists.
We watch royalty taking trips everywhere and making slip of the tounge or racist remarks and they get away with it, why is that??
Celebreties, not content with getting 20 million dollars plus per movie now make rediculous demands to ensure they turn up to premote their movie/cd/play etc. What possible need is there for all the candles in a room being white that makes a celebraty happy??
But worst of all is the fact that we, the little people have let it happen.
You can't butter your toast with a gun or drive yourself to hospital, no the only use for a gun is to harm or kill.
I think there are better ways to contain situations than guns, and no I don't think that everyone should sit down and talk about their feelings, I think that there are non leathal forms of detainment available that don't kill millions of innocent people every year.
I strongly encourage every person who wants to be part of the change to watch Micheal Moore's Bowling for Columbine movie. It's not exactly pleasent viewing but it is important to show the way our world is progressing and what we can do to stop it.
