This "god awful" movie owns you and this movie rocks.
Also, I didn't see any other fan sites out there. Am I really all alone?
Q: How long did it take you to write the yodeling parts in the Yodel-Adle-Edle-Idle-Oo?
Too long...I know yodeling is just harmonizing, but I was determined to do the yodeling parts instead of just putting "<YODEL BEGINS>"
I think 45 minutes tops...
Q: When is the movie set?
Let's look at the only clue on the date they mentioned in the movie.
Thursday, September 24th.
And I honestly think this is set in the very late 19th century, very early 20th century.
So it's either 1908, 1904, or 1899.
Q: Is this movie set in Texas?
A: No! Non, Nein!
This is where everyone sees just how much time I have on my sick hands.
If you listen to the song lyrics in "Little Patch of Heaven"...
"It's left of Nebraska, and over a crest. On a little patch of heaven way out west."
And considering Patch of Heaven is in the same state where the whole movie is set...
It's either Wyoming or Colorado.
Considering the movie looks very reddish in the land...I'm going to say it's Colorado.
Q: Do you know for sure?
Of course not. I don't work for Disney. Considering I LIVE in Colorado, it looks like it.
But I might be wrong now, since artists went to Wyoming to get inspired.
Q: Isn't Sarah Jessica Parker supposed to be in this/Wasn't she supposed to be the voice of Pearl Gresner?
She was originally going to be the voice of Pearl Gresner.
Then apparently they changed it to having her voice Pearl's daughter.
Then I guess they decided to cut her out.
Q: What is Slim's purpose?
Revenge.
He wasn't well respected when he worked at some ranches (he mentions this in the movie).
So he decided to buy out their land and leave them bankrupt and homeless.
Typical b-western villain.
Pretty sassy if you ask me.
Q: Does Randy Quaid do ALL the yodeling?
Not all of it. Some of it...
The other yodelers are Randy Erwin and Kerry Christenson
Q: Is this really the last 2D movie?
Of course not. They're only SAYING that.
This is the 21st century. We haven't even gotten to 100 years of Disney 2D animation. Eisner won't live forever and whoever is the next head of Disney will put an end to this nonsense.
And if they don't, they will feel my wrath.
Q: Why didn't Disney/you capitalize k.d. lang?
She wanted to be like the famous poet e.e. cummings.
So it's not a typo.
Q: Is it true Disney finally owned Dreamworks?
I wouldn't say "owned". They just made fun of them.
Maggie calls Buck, "Stallion of the Ci-MORON"
A reference to "Spirit: Stallion fo the Cimarron", a Dreamworks film.
Q: Why is it rated PG? I see nothing wrong with it.
Because of Maggie's line about her utters.
"Ya, they're real. Quit staring!"
Q: Can you REALLY yodel?
Yes. But so can everyone else.
