Specializing in primitive, story book & Cottage Floral designs,my goal is to make each piece I paint a unique expression, while remaining true to traditon. The comforting feel of age is something that makes most people feel at ease, and that is what I try to instill in all my work.
Distressing the surface & layers of stains and glazes gives each item a worn and mellow look. I draw inspiration for my painting from my gardens and the farm on which I live, but whenever something unique catches my eye, it may end up painted on a door, a canvas, or even a flower pot.
My husband and I have run our antiques shop since 1986,and in that time I have painted almost every conceivable object. My art work blends very well with antiques and country furnishings, but I have many clients who have a contemporary style and my pieces seem to fit in well with their decor as well.

I am always happy to do custom commissions and work closely with my clients to get a good feel for what they have in thier minds eye. My pricing is based on a piece by piece basis and is very competitive. I currently ship only to the continental U.S. and transport of large pieces such as furniture is totally the clients responsibility.
