This picture was taken when he was a year old , in December 2001, and
as you can see (by the picture on the television in the background), he likes to
keep up on current events, he was watching the news
right before this picture was taken of him.

Here's a picture of BJ's stepbrother Bubba. Bubba lives all the way across town and
they don't get to see each other that much. BJ was named after Bubba
(Bubba Junior - BJ for short).

You're not going to believe this, but it's a true story told to me in an email by BJ himself.
I can't even begin to tell the story as well as BJ tells it, so here it is in his own words:

"You see, I used to pose a lot before my Dad played an ugly joke on me.
When I was about 7 months old Dad said if I would pose for him,
that he would take pics and send them in to "Puppy Swimsuit Magazine".
So, just to please him, I did it...several times.

But, then when the shoot was over Dad said:

"You silly dog, don't you know that there isn't a
"Puppy Swimsuit Magazine"?
