Carl R. (Randy) Hall died in St. Elizabeth
Hospital in LaFayette, Indiana. He was born on August 27, 1939, in
Chattanooga, TN, to Fred and Hazel Newberry Hall. On December 24, 1966,
he was married to Paula Finch, who died in a horse riding accident in 1979.
Carl was a pipe fitter/welder, and was a veteran
of the U.S. Navy, joining right after high school and retiring in 1977.
He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 157, Masonic Lodge
313 in Battle Ground, the Scottish Rite and Murat Temple, and American
Legion Post 785 in Delphi.
He was a 1958 graduate of Logansport High
School.
Survivors include his two daughters, Laura
Roxanne Hall and Karen Suzanne Hall, both of Lafayette; his mother, of
Logansport; four sisters, Marian (Roger) Evans, Logansport, Brenda Hoch,
Galveston, Wanda Walker, Biddeford, Maine, and Frances Hale, Greenfield;
and two brothers, David of Winterspring, Florida, and Timothy Michael Hall
of Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions were made to the American
Heart Association, and to the Shriner Burn Institute in Indianapolis.
His father preceded him in death.
Burial was in Washington Park East Cemetery,
Indianapolis.
