Services for Dorothy Ann Kidd, 69, Logansport, will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Kroeger Funeral Home.
She died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at Chase Center.
Born Jan. 12, 1940, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Anthony and Eveline Tancredi Rose. She was married Nov. 15, 1956, to Donald Reichel, who preceded in death. On Aug. 11, 1973, in Logansport, Dorothy was married to Glenn M. Kidd Jr., who survives.
Dorothy was instrumental in establishing Alzheimer’s support groups in Logansport. Dorothy loved to read, but she most enjoyed her family, especially photos of her grandchildren.
Also surviving are son, Robert Reichel, Nyona Lake; daughter, Toni Ann Powlen, Winamac; stepson, Michael (Jackie) Kidd, Doveridge, England; stepdaughter, Susan (John) Taylor, Tucson, Ariz.; brother, Patrick J. Rose, Logansport; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother, James A. Rose; and sisters, Angeline Easterday, Josephine Zinsmaster and Mary Gibson.
Chaplain Brent Kirby will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
