Rose Marie "Toby" Barton, 69, of 317 East 13th Street Winamac, IN passed away at 6:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, IN.

Toby was born March 25, 1939 in Kokomo, IN to Joseph and Antionette Digilio Hershey.  She was married to Ted L. Barton. He died on December 15, 1988.

Toby moved to Winamac from California in 1991.  Toby loved and appreciated her step-mother Ruth and her step-brothers & sisters.  Since moving to Winamac she spent much of her time in the company of her cousins Dan & Vivian Pesaresi, Gene & Barb Huber, and Joe & Terry Pesaresi and families.  Toby claimed their children as her "Indiana grandchildren".

Toby was a lifetime member of the Winamac Eagles and the Winamac VFW Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed serving her lodges and served as an officer of the Eagles.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends, especially shopping and going to flea markets. Toby loved children.

Toby blessed many of our homes with her love and presence.

Services will be held at 11 AM EST Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Jeff Strite officiating.

Burial will take place in the St. Peter's Cemetery located in Winamac, IN.

Friends may call 3-8 PM EST Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Frain Mortuary.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Pulaski Memorial Hospice.

Eagles services will be held at 7 PM EST at Frain Mortuary. (2-21-09)
