After extensive treatment for cancer, Terry succumbed to the disease while at the University of Nebraska Hospital. In 1940, he was born in Logansport where he grew up with his older brother Jon in a little white house on North Street. Terry received his BS and Masters Degree from Indiana University where he became a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Terry and wife Judy lived for a while in Evansville and then for several years on the northeast side of Indianpolis. In addition to enjoying his family, he loved tennis, golf, boating and flying. He spent his life in business and was chairman of the board for Security Group, Inc. for twelve years. He was a member of St. Lukes Methodist Church. Terry was a member of the 12th Man Club at IU, was previous president of IU Alumni Club in Evansville, president of IU School of Business Alumni, Board of Directors 1991. He was also on the boards of several public and private companies. Terry had served in the US Army. Entombment was held at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
