| "Just for info, that name "Captain America" was the Nickname of the character Peter Fonda played in "Easy Rider" which was based on some cartoon, "Captain America and Bucky" (which I am not familiar with at all)...Wonder if ES ad-libbed this name and/or if they had to get permission from Peter Fonda to use it in the movie? I just finished reading Peter Fonda's autobiography (which Lazy thought I might find of interest) and this was not mentioned but he talks a lot about Easy Rider and the fact that whereever he went in the world after that, people would yell out Captain America when they recognized him." - Chris | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
