Fan Meets Redhead Haiku (for Sprouty) 1/29/03 She checks her cue cards Should speech fail her in front of You, Eric-poo. Swoon! |
Misalliance (or was it Rashomon) Haiku Tonight's the big night. Black pleather, crimped hair, lip gloss -- She won't be going home. |

By Dramady "I had to rewrite Jacques' "All the world's a stage..." speech using our own version of of something that has "seven stages" or phases or parts for Shakespeare class last week. The whole 28 lines poem had to be in iambic pentameter, and nearly all lines had to have 10 syllables (you could go over a few times). So, guess what I picked! Yes, that's right, our precious seven Dimitri episodes." And she got an A+! The audience, enraptured, was flung into The phenomenon, the beauty, the awe Of those seven Dimitri episodes. In them, he inspired us, made us think. First seen in The Awful Truth, introduced With truth, he challenges her to be brave, Honest--in writing, if not in person. In Acting Out, his mocking voice chided "Everything means something," and she listened. Prepare for the unexpected, he taught. Then comes the pivotal point. Upset, He builds her confidence when she is down, And they share a moment of gratitude. Destiny Turns on the Radio is Followed by a brief appearence in Chaos Theory, just a look and a touch. Tough Love is the turning point--a moment Of vulnerability, of weakness, And a new chapter begins. Months later, She tries to get too close, and it backfires. The connection is validated, but She must break away. She doesn't, she won't In The Gay-Straight Alliance. The climax, Both the highs and the lows, both the risk And the reward, come at the expense of Everyone's perceptions, and the blame they cast. Superb Experience is the Teacher Ends the journey, the beautiful story. |

Ode to Eric by Grace_Dimitri_fan On top of Eric's photo All covered with kisses, I lost all my dignity But I don't even miss it. For Eric is worth it, He's simply diving. No matter his neuroses, That Lester is FINE!. to be continued |
Snuggle Puppy, sung by Eric Stoltz lyrics by Sandra Boynton, from the children's cd Philadelphia Chickens Buy the cd! We did! Listen to the song! Well, I have a thing to tell you and it won't take long. The way I feel about you is a kind of a song. It starts with an ooh, and ends with a kiss And all along the middle it goes something like this: It goes ooh! Snuggle Puppy of mine, Everything about you is especially fine. I love what you are. I love what you do. Fuzzy little Snuggle Puppy, I love you. I say Ooh! Snuggle Puppy of mine, Everything about you is especially fine. I love what you are. I love what you do. Oooooh! I love you. (kiss sound) Well, I wanted just to tell you and it didn't take long The way I feel about you is a kind of a song. I started with ooh, I gave you a kiss, I hope you liked the middle, now we'll end like this. We go: Ooooh! Snuggle Puppy of mine, Everything about you is especially fine. I love what you are. I love what you do. Fuzzy little Snuggle Puppy, I love you. I say: Ooooh! Snuggle Puppy of mine, Everything about you is especially fine. I love what you are. I love what you do. Ooh, I love you! (ending with long kiss) |

from Sprouty (who was "moved to post a love poem to my looover.") All tongue-in-cheek of course. ;] Oh dearest Dimitri your hybrid we've seen but wherefore art the driver in muted green plaid who stole my heart and won't give it back Dimitri how i love him let me count the ways wish i could read his adaption of plays! In my dreams i see him behind the wheel and my heart is the wheel that he holds sprouting wings i fly away to him and the Dimitrilove never dims May the Captain get dual citizenship and visit ports Canadian one day soon Swoon... |

Sonnet 78 by Shakespeare submitted by Lea (I've capitalized Grace in this sonnet.) SO oft have I invok’d thee for my Muse And found such fair assistance in my verse As every alien pen hath got my use And under thee their poesy disperse. Thine eyes, that taught the dumb on high to sing And heavy ignorance aloft to fly, Have added feathers to the learned’s wing And given Grace a double majesty. Yet be most proud of that which I compile, Whose influence is thine, and born of thee: In others’ works thou dost but mend the style, And arts with thy sweet Graces graced be; But thou art all my art, and dost advance As high as learning my rude ignorance. |

Song lyrics by Zacariah He can't get her out of his mind He thinks about her all of the time He tries to cover up his feelings But his eyes can't hide the way he feels Can you keep a secret Can you keep a secret They know each other like no other She wants to know him a little better So she reads some of his poetry She finds she's not alone as he sweeps her off her feet Now her feelings are connected to the way he feels They knew it all along Can you keep a secret Can you keep a secret They know each other like no other When they look into each others eyes, they see what's really there All that was left behind in fear is getting another chance There's purpose There's meaning And it's starting to seem that if we all just believe We can do anything This feeling they share that is so rare Like a taste of wine in the pouring rain Like a song that's broken in Words of wisdom always there Comfort, love, and care Will their faith in love overcome society We will wait and see As you write the ending to their story |
