The office manager sat at the head of the table, an empty yellow notepad staring at her bleakly. She could hear the murmur of voices as her people proceeded with the meeting, not even realizing that their boss had no clue what they were saying.
She couldn't get her mind out of what she had just done. And every time she thought about it, she brought up her hand to her nose. 'She smells incredible.' She thought to her self for perhaps the hundredth time that morning. She was seriously beginning to consider not washing her hand for the rest of her life.
Sex in public with a stranger! What the hell had gotten into her?
********************************************
The tall woman finally collapsed on the park bench. Frustration screamed out of every pore and movement. She lowered her head to her hands and slowly shook her head.
'This is insane.' She muttered to herself. That was just a fuck, damn it! Yet she could still feel the smooth skin on her hand, the mouth that had passionately sucked her tongue, just how good the woman had felt pressed tight against her. In mindless reflex, she brought her right hand to her nose. She could almost, almost still smell her essence. 'Sex, that is all that was!'
But she knew it was useless. These were the same arguments she had been using on herself for the last two months. A casual sexual tryst in a dirty crowded train had become a painful obsession that seemed to span a lifetime. 'Sixty three days,' she looked at her watch 'three hours and ten minutes.'
Once again she put her head on her hands. 'Oh god, I need help.'
Slowly, the noise from across the street filtered in through to her anguished mind. With a sigh, she glanced up and finally noticed the commotion.
Oh great, a wedding. Just what I need to remind me of...her.
Is she a lesbian? Is she married? Does she ever think of me? Did I scare her so badly that she had to stop taking the train? Was it me? Was it just coincidence?
'Ugh.' She growled. Still looking at the church and the various people milling around outside, she saw another limo pull up. 'Oh woopee, here comes the bride.' She snarled sarcastically. She watched, mildly interested in who the poor woman would be.
She saw a few people surround the figure getting out of the car. 'Yeah yeah, long white dress and everything. Oh brother.'
The bride turned around briefly to look inside the limo and in the process, green eyes briefly locked onto blue ones. But before she could react, she was quickly ushered around, and hurried up the steps of the church.
The stunned woman stood up and gasped as she saw them lower her veil. Like a maniac, she wildly looked around as if she had seen Satan himself.
'No!' She screamed to herself. "That can't be her. That just can't be her."
In a near panic and not really thinking about what she was doing, she ran across the street, mindlessly dodging screeching cars. The tall woman entered the church and stayed in the back, rooted in place, barely registering what she was doing. The only words that kept floating around her head was 'that's her' that's her, that's her!'
And in the hazy fog she was in, the words that would forever change her life came pouring in through her head.
"Speak now or forever hold your peace."
"No!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
The shout echoed through the church walls. The priest stopped speaking. The music stopped playing. And a church full of people turned to their heads to face her.
Still acting on instinct, she raced halfway down the aisle to be met by the woman that had been haunting her every thought process for days.
"Just what the hell is going on here!" A baritone voice boomed out.
But she chose to ignore everything, except the beautiful blond woman who was standing right before her eyes. Still not thinking she raised the veil and not waiting another second, gently grazed her lips against the bride's. She pulled back slightly and rested her forehead against the other woman's, eyes closed. "Please, give me...us a chance." She whispered.
A long silence followed, and then she felt the smaller woman back away.
"I'm sorry, I can't."
And her whole universe shattered with those words. Tears instantly came pouring out, then she finally looked up, only to see that the woman was facing away from her, facing the groom.
Then green eyes turned her way. "Come on, let's go", and a small hand reached for hers.
"Wait a minute." The blond woman turned and the dark woman watched in amazement as she undid clasps, clips, and buttons and the train broke off. "Now I'm ready."
They raced outside, leaving behind a stunned stilled audience. Once they reached the sun they stopped. "So what now", the rescuer said.
"Come on, we'll use my limo." They ran down the steps and dove into the car. "Just drive around for a bit. Well give you a destination in a little bit."
The limo started in motion. However, the women were at opposite ends of the stretch. A heavy awkwardness filled the air.
Shyly, the two women looked at each other. A deep sigh came from both of them at the same time.
"Do you realized, I just ran out of my wedding and I don't know even know your name?"
The tall woman laughed at the absurdity. "Danetta, but call me Danny." Silence. Uh...what about yours? I want to know the name of the woman whose life I saved."
A blond eyebrow went up and a smirk appeared. "Saved, huh." A small chuckle. "Kelly."
Both women looked at each other. Things had seemed so simple back at the church.
"How about doing first things first like getting you more comfortable. Let's stop at a dept store or something and buy you a change of clothes."
"Yeah, now that sounds like a solid plan." And with that, she leaned across and shyly place a kiss on Danny's lips.

They agreed on going to Macys' since they were sure the store was used to seeing people in all types of get-ups. Not that it would have mattered too much where they went cause it was New York and everything there is considered normal.
Danny dutifully followed the fair-haired woman as she chose several items to try on, wondering if the small woman was intent on buying a whole new wardrobe. They had visited all nine floors already and were now on going on round two. She felt she had already memorized the floor plans.
"Wow, now the hard part. Trying them on." She smiled sweetly and started walking towards the dressing room.
'You mean that wasn't the hard part? Boy, she's got a lot of energy.' Thought an amused Danny.
"Yoohoo, Earth to Danny."
I looked up to see her, both hands on her hip. She looked adorable.
"Why are you just standing there, Miss Thing?" A beautiful twinkle in her green eyes.
"I'm gonna wait for you to finish trying those on?" She asked, not feeling certain anymore.
"Oh no you don't. You gotta come with me. Who's gonna tell me if I look good? Besides," the twinkle got brighter. "You're still holding the clothes."
I laughed. Now I knew I had truly gone insane. "Kelly, I'm pretty sure, you could probably wear plaid and stripes together and still look good."
She blushed beautifully. Then she walked towards me and grabbed my hand. "Come, this is a joint effort."
The first thing I immediately noticed was how soft her hands felt. 'Just like her belly. I wonder if the rest of her feels this soft, this good?' Danny felt a pulse down below. 'Relax down there.' She chastised herself.
I followed her past the waiting lounge all the way to the last dressing room. "Are you sure this is far enough? I'm sure if we asked, we could probably close off this whole section." I teased as I handed her the mountain of clothes.
"Don't you know anything." She said as she rearranged the hangers in an order only her mind could see. "This is the biggest one!" She turned to face me with a beautiful smile lighting up her face.
It was right there that I knew I had done the right thing. I was falling in love with this beautiful, vivacious, and wonderfully unpredictable woman.
"Kelly, these rooms are already bigger than my whole apartment." I said as I walked out and closed the door behind me. I could hear her laughing and it warmed my heart even further.
After a minute or two of hearing the ruffle of clothes, I heard sudden silence.
"Danny?"
"Still here."
"I need your help with this dress."
I heard the knob turn and the door open slightly. Sighing at the situation, I walked in. Her back was already facing me and she was holding her blond hair to the side. The creamy skin distracted me instantly. I felt outside of myself as I leaned down and inhaled deeply. As if being pulled by strings, my arms lifted and I pulled down the zipper instead of up. More of her delicious scent came tumbling out. I heard her gasp and I slowly parted the sides, trailing fingertips as I did.
I walked around and continued lowering the dress, leaning in as I revealed inch by inch the most perfect skin I'd ever seen. I left a trail of kisses as I brought the dress all the way down. Noticing immediately how conveniently my nose and mouth were positioned now that I was on my knees. I ran my hands down the back of her thighs, teasingly sliding underneath the lacy band and nuzzled softly against the surface in front of me. I felt her body trembling and felt my heart beat faster.
I looked up and was pleasantly surprised. Her head was turned to the side, looking at the mirror. I looked over and our eyes met. I deliberately snaked my tongue out and ran it over the cloth, never losing contact with those beautiful green eyes. Perhaps the sight was too much, for she let out a groan and closed her eyes. 'So my Kelly likes to watch.' I thought. I raised my arms again and started slowly bringing down her underwear.
"Danny, no." She whispered. "We are in a major department store dressing room."
I didn't miss a beat and she didn't stop me either. "That certainly didn't stop you on the train, now did it?" I looked back up to her face.
She smiled and wrapped her hands through my hair and pushed my face forward.
I firmly held onto her as I picked up her left leg and draped it over my shoulder. I devoured her like a starving animal that had't eaten in days. My god, she tastes even better than she smells! I could hear her moaning softly. Once again I looked up, but this time her head was tilted back and her eyes were closed. She was biting her bottom lip, probably to keep from getting any louder. I smiled against her.
I pulled back and gently commanded. "Look at me through the mirror."
She opened her eyes and looked down at me and with a wicked look, she turned her head again towards the mirror. She looked so beautiful! The bright lights reflected off the light perspiration that coated her skin, her breasts heaved in sync with her rapid breathing. 'Her breasts!' I let go of my current meal and maneuvered around to latch on to a nipple. I know I was sucking hard, but I couldn't help it. And the fact that she was still pushing my face against her made me only want to suck harder. 'Wow' was the only word that kept echoing in my head. "You taste so fucking good." I moaned, unable to keep quiet any longer.
I heard her moan louder and was pushed back down to my knees. I couldn't help my willingness, I was hers to command.
Once again I attacked my prize. I could tell that she was near when I heard desperate words.
"Go inside, please!" Came the raspy voice.
I instantly obeyed. Her grip on my hair increased. I felt overwhelmed. I had to connect to her. I mushed my face completely, wanting her wetness all over me. I pumped harder and licked faster.
"Oh Danny!" Kelly practically yelled in a choked voice.
I stayed on my knees, relishing the tremors that ran through her body. I gently slid up her body and hugged her tightly.
"Please tell me this is more than just about incredible sex." She muttered into my skin.
"It's much more," I tell her. "It's the reason I stopped the wedding, and the reason you let me."
I felt her pull away slightly and lost my breath when those eyes turned to me. She gently caressed my face and I felt myself panicking. Was she going to leave? Was she going to tell me it was a mistake?
"Shhh."
She placed a finger on my lips.
"Take that look of horror off your face, my love."
She smiled and pecked me lightly on my lips.
The words 'my love' settled my out of control heart.
"I was just wondering when it was going to be my turn to get some fun." She smirked.
I laughed out loud. I could definitely live with that. "Hmmm, as soon as we get you home, woman." I growled into her into ear. She giggled. I have definitely fallen in love.
"Well, I suggest you leave this room now cause otherwise, we just ain't gonna wait that long." She purred.
I jokingly saluted and walked out. The first thing I noticed was the bright smile of the dressing room attendant.
"Did everything feel fine?" She asked, a slight smile on her face.
I felt myself getting red. I knew I must have caused the smile that now filled up her face.
"Oh yeah." I heard a tiny giggle from behind. "Everything felt and fit perfectly."
********************************************
"Speak now or forever hold..."
"No!" The scream echoed throughout the park.
'Oh my god, this is a nightmare!' I screamed internally as I saw Kelly's ex run halfway down the carpeted trail.
My world slowly crashed as I saw my wife-to-be run down the aisle to meet him. I felt like I was going to faint. There was a pounding in my head that was making everything black. As if pulled by strings, I took feeble steps towards the woman I loved.
My world became blacker when I saw her put her arms around the intruder. I closed my eyes. I couldn't take the vision anymore. She was going to leave me at the alter.
And then the pain increased to a level I thought humanly impossible as her words softly filtered in.
"I'm sorry, I can't."
I opened my eyes, expecting to see sad green eyes looking my way as she said those words.
'No!' She wasn't looking at me, she was looking at him! She turned around again. Our eyes met, and I couldn't help the overwhelming feeling, I rushed to her and kissed her passionately. I felt my tears rolling down but I didn't care. She had chosen me. Me!
"Thank you, oh god, thank you." I sobbed, all choked up and unable to let go.
"Shhh. Easy sweetheart."
She hugged me tighter.
"I love you, Danny. Don't ever forget that."
I felt her pull back slightly and I willingly lost myself in her eyes.
"I belong with you and to you forever, my love. Don't ever doubt that. I made my choice two months ago and I'm making it again today. I want to marry you. Do you understand?"
I nodded mutely. God, she is incredible.
"Good, now come on."
Her soft hand took mine.
"Let's get this wedding going, huh."
She leaned in close and whispered in a sultry tone.
"'Cause I just can't wait to start our honeymoon."
My world was all right again. My girl still wanted me.
