Did anyone think at all of the cost? Not just in money but in human loss? For what can be so strong a worth to risk human lives here on this earth? For those who perish and those who survive and also for those who are left half alive. Is there an answer for family and friend to explain later on why a life had to end? Those who were brave did all that they could and risking it all did more than they should. Did we welcome them home as the heroes they were? Or did we try to forget and now it's a blur? Do the history books tell the whole story? Did we ever tell them that we were all sorry? As in all wars lives are put on the line. May we never forget them with the marching of time.
