...she was just a little girl at my wedding... |
Most boats, ships, jeepneys and taxis have Patrons, such as Titles of Our Blessed Mother or the Saints. This boat has the Child Jesus as its Patron, under the title Senor Santo Nino de Cebu, protector of Cebu. |
In almost every Cebuano home a statue of Senor Santo Nino is revered. Through the centuries there are many stories of miraculous events through devotion to Him...late at night, by candlelight, the statue pedestal was found empty while a Child was seen walking the streets or countryside. By morning the figure had returned to its pedestal. |
