1998 YoungStar Awards:


Jonathan was nominated for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Daytime TV Program (General Hospital) Richard was presenting his category. When the envelope was opened, Richard proudly announced that the award goes to the best actor he knows -- his best friend and brother -- JONATHAN JACKSON!!!!

Jonathan and Richard both were asked to co-host the awards this year. Not only was Jonathan nominated for his work on "General Hospital" (Younger Actor In A Daytime Drama) but also for this work on "The Deep End Of The Ocean." (Young Actor In A Feature Film ~ Drama) Jonathan took home the award for his work on GH and althought he didn't win for his work in DEOTO - it was really nice that he did get nominated.
