Behind The Scenes
The writers and production crew of I Love Lucy-script, sets, lighting, cameras, editing, and more- were behind-the-scenes people who allowed the performers to do their jobs.Take a glimpse at who did what each week.

Monday: The writers brainstormed ideas for the script (filmed 8 weeks later), and, by day's end all scenes were plotted.The editing staff spent the day assembling a rough cut from the previous week's show were torn down.

Tuesday: the writers ran throught the script with the cast until noon, then spent the after noon on the first draft of their new story.The crew assembled the sets, which had been designed and built since the script was written.

Wednesday:
The crew scrutinized show sets, determined camera coordination, and remedied lighting problems. The producer received the writers' first draft of their script, fro his analysis. The editor completed a rough cut of the show to air the next week.

Thrusday: The crew observed rehearsal to make adjustments to sets, props, lighting and cameras.Crew members stayed late to assist with any adjustments or revisions to the script.

Friday:
The writers used the producer's comments on teh rewrite and revise the script, due on Monday. The crew prepared for that evening's filming with any last-minute changes.After dress rehearsal at 4:30 PM, the  band played the familiar theme song promptly at 8PM.
