| The Results are in! The two lumps that were removed have been inspected and the results show that they are both panniculitis, an inflammation of the subcutaneous fatty tissue. Lucy DOES NOT HAVE CANCER!! :o) It is not known what caused the inflammation in the first place. Lucy continues to heal from surgery and her stitches will be out within the next week. She is bouncy, playful, and completely herself, not even noticing the stitches and leaving them completely alone. We thank everyone for all of the well wishes, good thoughts and emails during this time, it helped us get through this scare. |
