Mary W. Cobb, 62 of Sanders, died Sunday, Dec 9, 1984, at University Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. from injuries received in an automobile accident in Knoxville on Nov. 21. (Mrs. Cobb's husband, Thomas, also was injured in the accident. He was released from the hospital on Monday, Dec. 10.) Mrs. Cobb was born in Ghent on Nov. 17, 1922 and was the daughter of Corbett H. and Ethel Ogden Crawford. She was a member of the Sanders Baptist Church. She and her husband were married on Nov. 17, 1962. Mrs. Cobb is survived by her husband, Thomas; one son, John Albert, North Carolina; one daughter, Susan Beach, Summersville, S.C., four stepsons, Gerald and Ashley Cobb, both of Carrollton, Mark Cobb of Covington, and Grant Cobb of Cincinnati; three sisters, Lillie Mae Sendicoe of Ashland, Ill., Alma Jean Cobb of Sanders, Ky., and Betty Jane Miles of Carrollton, Ky.; two brothers, Paul Crawford of Sanders, Ky., and Marvin Crawford of Ghent, Ky.; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and nine step-grandchildren. Services are scheduled to be conducted by the Rev. J.W. Farmer on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. at the Graham-Dunn funeral Home. Burial will be in the Carrollton I.O.O.F Cemetery. |
