Cast of Characters

Cecil- Cecil is a dark night from the town of Baron.  He is sent on a quest by the King to fight the dark side.  Cecil later becomes a palidin because he cant fight darkness when he is dark.  Later in the game Cecil discovers that his enemy Golbez is his older brother.

Rosa- Rosa is a white wizard from the town of Baron.  She is Cecil's love intrest in the game, and she joined the party to be near him. Rosa gets sick with desert flu and gets abducted during the teams journy. In the she and Cecil get married.

Kain- Kain is a Dragoon from the town of Baron.  He is Cecil's best friend and has known him all his life.  Although Kain is on the Cecil's side he keeps getting persuaded by Golbez to help him.

Rydia- Rydia is a caller from the town of Myst.  She is the last female caller left on the Earth.  She joins the party as a mere child, but later she gets swallwed by Leviatian.  Everyone thinks she is dead, but she later returns, from the hidden city of monsters, as a grown woman and full of knowledge.

Edge- Edge is the price of the town of Eblan. 
He joined the group to help avenge his mother and father.  They were abducted by Rubicant, and changed into hiddous monsters.  Edge is very stubborn, and big headed, but he is an awsome ninja.

Anna

Edward- Edward is a price disquised as a bard.  He join's the party when his only love Anna is killed. Edward is a big scardy cat, but he is vey skilled in playing the harp.

Cid- Cid is an airship mechcanic from the town of Baron.  He is a funny, good humored, jokester.  He join's the party because they need his airship, and he is a friend of Rosa.

Yang- Yang is a noble karate fighter.  He joins the party because it is helping his town.  He gets hurt during the game, but is rescued by the sylphs.  You must awaken him from his uncocious stae by hitting him with his wife's frying pan.

Tellah- Tellah is a wizard from the town of Mysidia, and he is very old.When you find him he can't remember all his spells, but throughout the game his memory returns to him.

Polom and Porum- Polom and Porum are twins from the town of Mysidia.  They are magic users, and are friends with the wizard Tellah. They give up their lives by turning themselves into stone to save the party.

Fusoya- Fusoya is a wizard from the moon, where Cecil's father comes from.  He knows every magic spell in the entire game, but you find him at the very end of the game.

Golbez- Golbez is your enemy throughout the game.  He is the older brother of Cecil, but he works for the dark side, so Cecil must fight against him.
