Here then is a brief history of Major events that happened in the Land of the Hundred Kingdoms. The color map detailed in CP2: the quest for home is here as well for your viewing convenience.

235 The age of the Fairies and Godmothers. Many miracles are witnessed at this age. The most notable of which was the story of Margaret of the Cinders, who married the royal Prince Philip IV and ascended to the throne of what is now known as the Slipper kingdom. Her miracle dress and fashion started a trend in glass footwear that while very uncomfortable, was the fashion statement of the time. (It can be argued however, that the original crystal slippers Margaret wore were rumored to be the most comfortable shoes in the world – as one maid who helped herself to them attested “t’was like walking with shoes made of the softest feathers…”)
since then, the slipper kingdom has been at the forefront of shoe fashion.

274 The coming of the evil dragons. Only the northernmost kingdoms like the Singing Bells and the Principalities of Rose Red and the Charming Kingdoms seemed to be unaffected by the invasion of the evil monsters.
The greatest dragon slayer, Prince Madragellos, takes off from the Kulisom Kingdom to lead vast armies south to the origin of the dragon invasion. He was not only a great warrior but he was an accomplished wizard as well. He was the top student during the time Farlan the Great taught at the prestigious College of Wizardry. He never returned from his quest. The people of the city state from which he came from mourned the loss of their prince for a whole decade. Even now, the kingdom is more commonly known as the Kingdom of the Lost Prince.

321 The Briar Kingdom falls. The age of dragons at the height of power. Isolated all this time from the invasions, the mighty kingdom of the Briars seemed impervious to the assault of the evil hordes that swept the northern parts of the Hundred Kingdoms.
An old dragon by the name of Shalathrumnostrium was said to have taken the mighty castle.

446 Heroes defeat the evil dragons – valiant Princes, one after the other in a string of noble campaigns fought to rid the Hundred Kingdoms of the dragon menace. Little did the noble princes realize that the very advisors who gave them much arcane knowledge about the dragons would use that same knowledge to gain power later on.

451 The time of curses and the lost princes. During this time, many princes were cursed by evil witches. The princes were turned into geese, frogs, and many other kinds of animals. Many kind maidens and other princesses, with the power of true love, transformed many of the princes back to their old selves, thus thwarting the menace of the evil transfigurers.

472 the coming of the Witch Queen. Evil witches and warlocks started to dominate the Hundred Kingdoms. The time of the Charming Kingdom’s darkest hour. The most terrible of them all was the Witch Queen Ardemalla, whose vanity knew no bounds. She was rumored to have kept a magic mirror which showed her many things -- one of which is who was the fairest in the land.

490 The Charming Kingdom is liberated from the Witch Queen by Prince Andrew Charming, who married Princess White the next year. This started a chain of like rebellions from the other kingdoms which culminated in the great purge of evil many years later. One of the most notable of defeats was one vile witch by the name of Hefdersee, who was at the time, the true secret power ruling the Candy and Ginger towns as well as the great kingdom of  Farradim up north. A brave young village girl named Gretel Heinrich outsmarted her. Hefdersee was roasted in her own oven.

512 the great purge of evil. Great armies led by good princes felled many despots and many of the evil warlocks and witches were banished or destroyed. This resulted in many rescues of princesses from evil monsters and magicians alike. Most of the evil armies retreated in shambles to the Korvarrum, the unremembered lands. The forces of good never reached that far south.

515 A new age of peace across the Hundred Kingdoms is declared.

564 the birth of Mabelrose of New Tinsley.
