This is a great plant booster & will certainly get your plants moving. To make this, put half a kilogram of dried blood or blood & bone into an old stocking, (shake the missus out of it first though) & soak this in about 20 litres of water for three days. If it is soaked any longer, the mixture will start to get a bit smelly & this is not good, particularly if the missus wants her stocking back! After three days the mixture in the stocking can now be turfed, & you will be left with a clear liquid that is best feed to your plants in September & again in March, but not during the main flowering season (October to December). The liquid can be diluted, as it appears to work regardless of its strength. |
