The Vipers took their first shot at playing
spoiler by knocking off the Rebels this week (they finish the season against
the Skid Marks).
It wasn't pretty, but Tiki Barber scored a touchdown, and Peerless Price notched 105 yards. The kicker and defense added just enough to put them over the top.
The loss drops the Rebels' lead to a mere 1/2 game over the Skid Marks, and 1 game over the Bootleggers. Brett Favre made a valient effort to lead his team, throwing two late TDs. The rest of the offense was shut out however, and even the Tampa Bay defense couldn't make up the difference.
