Dunces Hold On for Third Title
Congratulations to the Dunces, the 2004 Champions, and the first ever three time champion in MACCFL history!

With the streaking 101 Fisters reeling off 7 straight wins, the pressure was on the Dunces to come through in the final week. They brought their A game, but didn't even need it after the spoiler minded Skid Marks fell flat on their faces.

"We came in here with one thing on our minds, and that was playing spoiler," said Skid Marks QB Trent Green, "We probably should have thought about playing football instead."

After Week 10, the 101 Fisters were 4-6 and buried in 11th place. Then the seemingly impossible 7 game winning streak left them within reach of their third title. They came in hot and did not have a letdown. Their 107 - 31 victory over the Smokers put all the pressure on the Dunces.

"We're very happy with our season," said team QB Daunte Culpepper, "We were up, down and then up again. It was a thrilling year, and we look forward to next year."

The War Mongers went in to the final weekend hoping to win their first title, but needed a lot of help to do so. Unfortunately they faced a strong Rebels team on the wrong day and lost their 2nd straight game to fall out of the running.

"I don't think too many people gave us a chance this year," said WR Brandon Stokley, "We didn't have the Peyton Manning or the Daunte Culpepper but we still found ways to win. Watch out for us next year!"

Top QB and MVP honors go to Peyton Manning (Dunces) with 307 points. Manning is the 1st position player to ever top 300 points. Daunte Culpepper (275) and Donovan McNabb (224) both had excellent seasons.

Top RB honors go to Shaun Alexander (Sea Birds) with 207 points. His 1 yard run in the last game put him over the 200 point mark. LaDainian Tomlinson (181) finished strong and Curtis Martin (163) led the league in rushing yardage.

Top WR honors go to Terrell Owens (Zeppelins) with 152 points. Even sitting out the last 2 1/2 games he won it easily. Javon Walker (126) had a breakout season, and Marvin Harrison (123) was his usual solid self.

Top Defense was the Baltimore Ravens (Rebels) with 239 points.

Top PK was Adam Vinatieri (Idiots) with 203 points.

The Zeppelins are now on the clock....
