Chad Johnson (106) topped 100 points for the first time. Larry Fitzgerald (95) made the next step. Dominick Davis (54) suffered through an injury and a bad situation in Houston. |

101 FISTERS (10-7-0, 943 points) Position Averages (Rank)/Leaders: QB 4.4 (11th) - Brad Johnson (MIN) 50 points RB 10.3 (1st) - Larry Johnson (KC) 238 points WR 2.6 (10th) - Lee Evans (BUF) 49 points PK 9.1 (9th) - Jason Elam (DEN) 142 points DF 11.8 (6th) - Giants (NYG) 134 points The Fisters finshed strong again this year, winning their last five games. And like last season, Larry Johnson (238) was the main reason. Johnson scored 30 points in the first half of the season, and 208 points in the second half. Daunte Culpepper's (13) slow start and subsequent injury probably cost the Fisters a third title. Brad Johnson (50) tried to fill in at QB. Tatum Bell (93) was a big play back as a spot starter. Lee Evans (49) and Rod Smith (42) led a weak WR corps. |

That one loss was to the Sea Birds however, and ended their chance for a fourth title. Peyton Manning (153) led the league's #1 QB attack. Stephen Davis (97) was a scoring machine in the first half of the season, but failed to score after Week 10. The always reliable Marvin Harrison (108) was a top 5 receiver for the 7th straight season. Randy Moss (76) was expected to contribute more after moving to Oakland. A five game losing streak to end the season left them 5 1/2 games back and sitting at .500. The War Mongers have yet to win 10 games in a season. The Mongers used six different quarterbacks this year, and only Steve McNair (48) scored any significant points. Edgerrin James (154) had another great year. Corey Dillon (96) missed several games with injuries but still scored well. Another injury to Donovan McNabb (113) cut short a good start. Tiki Barber (155) came on strong at the end, finishing 2nd in rushing yardage. Joey Galloway (96) was a bright spot, scoring more points this year than the last five combined. Terry Glenn (72) also bounced back after a few off years. Steven Jackson (90) was solid, but was expected to contribute more after taking over the starting job from Marshall Faulk. Brian Westbrook (65) was not nearly the threat he was last year. |

After a solid 3-1 start, they lost their next four en route to their 8-9 finish. Drew Brees (124) had another solid year. Hines Ward (98) and Antonio Gates (91) led a solid receiving corps. Willis McGahee (64), the self proclaimed best RB in the league, only managed 12 points in the second half. The Idiots managed the 3rd best ranked defense, thanks to the Steelers (199) return to their former glory, |

SMOKERS (7-10-0, 961 points) Position Averages (Rank)/Leaders: QB 7.4 (8th) - Eli Manning (NYG) 93 points RB 7.1 (4th) - LaDainian Tomlinson (SD) 214 points WR 2.2 (11th) - T.J. Houshmandzadeh (CIN) 39 points PK 10.5 (4th) - Shayne Graham (CIN) 179 points DF 17.9 (1st) - Colts (IND) 153 points Two separate four game losing streaks doomed the Smokers to their 8th straight losing season. The Smokers enjoyed the 2nd best team defense in league history thanks to the Colts (153) and Bears (151). Eli Manning (93) fared well in his first full season, and should be even better next year. LaDainian Tomlinson (214) was a leading MVP candidate, but only managed one TD in the last five weeks. Andre Johnson (29) and the rest of the receivers were a disappointment. |

Drew Bledsoe (113) returned to the starting lineup and delivered a solid year. Steve Smith (156) bounced back from last year's injury to become this season's top receiver. Mike Anderson (94) was good, but had to split playing time. LaMont Jordan (94) finally got a starting job and performed well before a late season injury. Terrell Owens (81) was benched and failed to top 100 points for the first time since 1999. Curtis Martin (44), Jamal Lewis (25) and Joe Horn (11) all saw their numbers drop significantly from last year. |

Carson Palmer (176) had a breakout season, taking top QB honors. Santana Moss (92) stepped up big after coming over in a preseason trade. Priest Holmes (68) got off to a good start and was traded away for Braylon Edwards (16). Kevin Jones (41) and Chris Brown (38) both fell short of expectations. Rookie Ryan Moats (39) scored well in his few late season starts. |

Tom Brady (155) had a bounce back season, leading the league in yardage. Torry Holt (105) missed a few games due to an injury, but was still a top 5 receiver. Joe Jurevicius (54) made the most of his playing time this year. |
