Macedonia is The Northern Greek Macedonia and includes former Greek cities Monastirion, Stromnitsa, Prilepon, Gevgeli, Stovoi Melenikon. Now the Yugoslavs changed the names, e.g. Monasterion-Bitola, Gevgeli-Gevgelija, Stromnitsa-Strumica, Krusovon-Krushevo Prilepon-Prilep e.t.c. |

| ANSWER TO PROPAGANDA 6 During Turkish occupation of Greek Macedonia, Ottoman Empire had divided the Greek Macedonia in two areas "Vilaetia", Vilaetion of Monastirion and Vilaetion of Thessaloniki. The population in those 2 Vilaetia was Greek. In 1870 the Slavic population was in a third Vilaetion , Vilaetion of Danube that became the Bulgarian Exarchy in todays North Bulgaria. In Balcan Wars Greeks of the 2 Vilaetia revolted against Turks and Greek army liberated them. Some cities were liberated by the local Greeks together with Greek Boy Scouts, and not from Greek Army.Also in Skopjean districts existed many Vlach Speaking Greeks and many people with Greek national concience. |
