I loved how these towns were just built into the sides of the mountains. I will admit that it is very tiring to just walk around to find a place for dinner, constantly going up and down hills and streets.
My hotel was the yellow building in the middle of the photo, right on the lakeshore, by the ferry docks. This picture was taken on the morning of October 29, 2002,
during my ferry-ride from Varenna back to Bellagio.
