Oatmeal Cookies
<BGSOUND SRC="cajunfrench.mid"> 4 cups oatmeal
2 cups flour
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 1/3 cups lard
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup hot water.

combine oatmeal,flour and sugar.
cut in lard then mix.
Add baking soda and salt,
then hot water. put
in fridge makes it easier
to roll out later.
Roll thin and bake at
350 degrees until light
in color.
