The Cure "Bloodflowers"
Some may argue
that Cure isn't goth, but they damn well tried. And this album is
proof that their giving it one last shot. Reminiscent of the days
of Disintegration, Bloodflowers just ripples with gloomy sound. A
must buy for any Cure fan, and worth a listen for those into the darker
stuff.

Peter Steele and
his crew helped show alot of people that metal doesn't have to sound like
someone running over a cat with a lawnmower. However, their latest
opus leaves much to be desired. They do well with All Hallows Eve,
and Everything Dies, but the rest of the album sounds like Ozzy gone manic
depressive. Not recommended at all. |
