I think I now know how to recognize those signs from spirit.  Night before last I was feeling a little down.  I was in a really good mood in the morning, but during the day at work and then at home I was just so depressed and feeling so lonely.  That night I told Patrick that if he really is ever around me, to give me a sign.  I asked that HE choose the sign this time, as when I choose them myself I tend to be way too picky and overanalyze them to death.
(Hence why I’ve only asked for signs from him only twice before this last one).
Last night Mom told me about a Princess Bride bumper sticker she saw at the mall.  It had the quote, “Death cannot stop true love” on it.  She asked if I wanted one, so I said sure.  I’ll pick one up next time we go to the mall.  So today, when we go out I’m thinking first stop will be the mall.  But… no.  Mom wanted to go to Sams to shop for groceries and I needed to deposit my check there.  But for the past two weeks I’ve been obsessed with writing and NEEDED to get out the house, so I asked if we could go to Sams last as if we got any cold food there then we’d have no choice but to go straight home afterward.  So we went to a few stores and then Sam’s, but no mall.  I REALLY wanted to go there today to get that PB sticker and to see the pets (we’ve been thinking of buying a little doggie there). Anyway, Mom decided to buy the cold groceries at H.E.B since she had to go there anyway.  So after Sams we went to the mall.

After I bought the PB sticker and we did some shopping, I told Mom about that little coincidence from months ago involving The Princess Bride.
(I placed PB quotes on my MySpace page and when I took a quiz the next day it said my movie quote line was from The Princess Bride and was “Death cannot stop true love, All it can do is delay it for a while.”  And that same evening, or the next, The Princess Bride was on tv two times in a row).
Well, tonight I decided to continue making cd copies of our Walt Disney World vacation tapes for my brother and his wife since our internet was out for some reason and I didn’t want to work on my new book.  On the WDW tape was a home video of my niece and nephew.  On it, Luke was watching something on tv.  While Mom and I watched the home video, I kept asking her what on earth Luke was watching b/c he was so FIXED on it and I knew it wasn’t some cartoon or kid’s movie.  Turns out he was watching THE PRINCESS BRIDE!

I just find it odd how everything fell together like that.  Us almost not making it to the mall, the PB sticker, the internet being down so I ended up seeing the PB movie on that home video.
This is a little funny I guess as well.  When Patrick gave me that Phantom music box (via Mom) right before Christmas, it was drastically marked down.  And today, when I bought that Princess Bride sticker (thanks to Mom once again, as she told me about it) it turned out to be marked down from $3 to 99 cents.  Lol!  I guess Patrick knows how much I love saving that money.  And it must be true that Patrick is really good at impressing things upon people.

Also, every single thing Mom and I bought today was drastically on sale.  It was kind of weird.  Mom even bought several pairs of bedsheets marked down from $60 to $17 each!  Lol!

Also, that’s the second time I’ve received a
(possible) sign from Patrick where my niece and nephew were involved.  Guess he knows how much I love those kids and thinks me receiving those signs from him via the kids makes it more memorable.  Oh!  And on that sticker, Westley is on a white horse – which is what Patrick’s horse is/was.
I remembered the other day that coincidence with “True Love Waits” from a while back; with a ring I have and that “Enchanted” book.  (Click HERE to read about  it).  And in a reading once Nat said Patrick told her that I was his “one true love.”  And the quote on the Princess Bride sticker was “Death cannot stop True Love.”

All that PB stuff happened yesterday, and while watching my “Christy” dvd’s tonight, Mom said she wonders what Randall Batinkoff is doing these days.  She looked him up on imdb.  I didn’t say anything to her, but I noticed that one of his movies is called “
True Love.”

I really think this is nothing, as I think
(not sure) I’ve seen it before a while back, but at Old Town Spring today I saw a pretty little Victorian “True Love” pin. It even matched a necklace I have.

Just the other day, when Mom and I were coming up with names for our new puppy, I remembered my little canary I used to have. I mulled over a name for him the day I brought him home, but that evening was still undecided on a name. I wanted it to be perfect. Well, FIRST THING the next morning - just as I was waking up - I thought
"Duh! Westley! Of course, name him Westley after the character in 'The Princess Bride' movie!" I always felt like that name didn't come from me, but from spirit. And now... with all the Princess Bride coincidences lately.... I'm thinking Patrick was the culprit behind my naming my sweet canary "Westley."
