Little Angels

When God calls little children,

To dwell with him above.

We mortals sometimes question,

The wisdom of his love.

For no heartache compares with

The death of one small child

Who does so much to make our world

Seem wonderful, and mild.

Perhaps God Tires of calling

The aged to his fold,

And so he picked a rosebud,

Before it can grow old.

God knows how much we need them,

And so he takes but a few,

To make the land of heaven

More beautiful to view

Believing this is difficult

Still, somehow we must try,

The saddest word mankind knows

Will always be “goodbye”

So when a little child departs,

we who are left behind

must realize God loves children.

Angles are hard to find

GOLDEN SLUMBERS

Once there was a way to get back homeward
Once there was a way to get back home
Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby

Golden slumbers fill your eyes
Smiles awake you when you rise
Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby

Once there was a way to get back homeward
Once there was a way to get back home
Sleep pretty darling do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby

TEARS

If Tears could build a stairway,
and memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven
to bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken,
no time to say goodbye,
you were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.

My heart still aches in Sadness,
and secret tears still flow,
What it has meant to lose you
know one will ever know.

An angel was sent from God's arms today

She centered our lives in the most special way

Beautiful and delicate-a sight to behold

Fragile, yet strong by doctor's we were told

There is no limit to the love we can give

No boundaries of time for our dreams to live

She is the answer to prayers sent to God above

And He answered with this child UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!

*Dedicated to Mackenzie-one of God's strongest angels.  We love you.
