    We have tried to keep this site as user friendly as possible. By using the MacLinks Easy Access Navigational Form, and limiting page content to under 60K; navigating around the MacLinks site is fairly quick. However, in limiting the visual content and text, we have also put creativity and entertainment way down on the priority list.

    To deal with this very important aspect of any web site; each month, we hope to add two selected sites to this Creative Links Page. A committee of four will surf the net and locate creative and informative sites dealing with Celtic history and culture - especially those focused on the Heritage of Scotland. By consensus, two will be selected for your reference.

    Be prepared - you will need plenty of time for downloading EACH SITE PRESENTED HERE IS MEANT FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT; THE WAIT IS WELL WORTH IT!!

~ Ancient ~ Scottish History Pages

•     "The Picts" is an amzing site. This is just a sample of what is in store for the reader, "...For people . . . interested in . . . Ancient Scotland. There are maps, time lines, Kings Lists, History and Lore of the Picts with original essays and artwork...". Thanks DeborahAnne for all of your hard work on Scotland's heritage.

•    "Scottish Heritage" is a well rounded, informative site from Michael Gibb. Besides the layout, what stands out the most is the section on the introduction to the Gaelic language. in the A neat, colorful, and informative site; with a flair to share. •    "Just Genealogy" This site is awesome. A site organized with loads and loads of useful information -- over 400 pages, with categories for states, countries, military, professional genealogy researchers, free things for genealogists, searches, ship passenger lists, and more. For those studying family from Ireland this site will be worth your time to visit. Thanks for all of your efforts "Just Genealogy". Enjoy!

•    "E.E. Healey Network" Edward Healey author of this website offers the researcher the vehicle for resources within the extensive number of links he hs placed on his site to Ireland. His work is well organized with information useful to the full spectrum of research of Ireland. Thanks Edward for all of your efforts. Enjoy!

~Russian ~ Ancestral Pages

•    "All Russian Family Tree", is authored by Serguey and Ludmilla. This website which focuses on Russia contains amongst other excellent links, a "Free DataBase" {in Russian}. For those dealing with the Russian language this is a good site to inquire about the exact spelling of Russian surnames in cyrillic letters. An excellent find.

•    "Kozin's Genealogy" A site layed out and organized by Nikolai Kozin. The graphics are awesome. The genealogy is downloadable and there are a number of great links for the Russion researcher. We need all the help we can get especially in researching Russian ancesters. Thanks Nikolai.

~Australia's ~ Ancestral Pages

•    "Lorraine's Top Family History Sites" One of the major problems most researchers have on the internet is finding good sites that will either have the data you need or can direct you to a good reference site. Lorraine has just done that with her website! It is just loaded with exceptionally worthwhile resources for the Australian researcher. Thanks so much for your continued hard work on our behalf Lorraine.

•    "Genseek Genealogy" Just as the Welcome states; "This site is designed as a guide to assist in locating sources for your family genealogy and history". Yes; Jenny Fawcett has created another excellent home page from Australia with more than enough information and links to keep you going for a month. The site is also updated continually. Thanks for your great contributions Jenny.
