Joseph White was born ca 1751 in Amelia Co VA. His family moved on to Bedford Co where he was married twice. His first wife was Elizabeth ? and his 2nd was Penelpe Taylor. He had no children by Penelope. He owned 8 slaves: Lavinia and her two children, Mary and Margaret, Daniel, Booker, Bill, Eliza and Jordan. He died in 1844 in Bedford Co and was in the Revolutionary War. I am also trying to trace the descendants of the slaves
