Aaron

Aaron is an older werewolf, looking like a man in his mid-fifties.  He has long white hair and coarse white stubble, which partially cover his craggy face.  He wears an old leather trench coat, a black shirt, faded, torn jeans, and work boots.  Around his neck is a simple chain from which hangs a crescent moon cut from sheet metal.  When he changes his clothes seem to disappear into his fur and he becomes a shaggy white wolf.  In all forms he still wears his pendant.
He sees himself as a defender of the old ways, and regards vampires as being profane, unnatural creatures who must be hunted down.  He has been known to destroy his own kind as well, and occasionally he allows vampires to live if they seem to measure up to some set of morals he holds.  Exactly what criteria he uses to determine who can live or die is unknown and seems to depend on his mood.
When in human form he often carries a shotgun or a pistol under his trench coat.  He rarely uses weapons when in one of his wolf forms because he does not need them.
Perhaps because of the bond he has with the "old ways" and the moon, he can occasionally call on the moon to remove her metal from his body, effectively dislodging any silver bullets, blades, or other weapons that have been used against him.
If someone gets to know him, Aaron proves to be a likeable guy, knowing all kinds of strange stories and myths from all over the world.  What he truly enjoys doing is turning into a wolf and going on the hunt, either alone, in a pack of wolves, or in a pack of werewolves.
