The Smashing Pumpkins are seriously in need of some cool music videos. They have awesome songs like Zero and Bullet With Butterfly Wings, but the music videos are only so-so. Ava Adore is their saving grace. It's not only an awesome song, it's also an awesome music video. Based on what? Billy Corgan.
Billy rocks in this video. If you're anything like me, he seriously reminds you of Nosferatu. I love seeing him like this, since he's already funny-looking and this makes him all the more so. It's awesome the way they make him move at times, and of course the faces he makes the whole time.
The song is really cool too. "And I'll pull your crooked teeth / You'll be perfect just like me." How much better does it get than that? Not much.
Down sides? Sure. The music video is pretty cool, but it's still got some lame bits. Neither James Iha nor Darcy Wretsky end up looking as cool as Billy, and Jimmy Chamberlain's not in it at all (that I know of. He might be hiding in the back somewhere.) So just watch Billy go nuts. That's what it's all about.
