In the super hero world, great men and women do battle with terrible villains to save the world. These heroes and villains always have awesome powers to help them in their quests for justice or evil. And they always wear costumes to show off their abilities. Well, almost always.
The final restraint on super heroes has finally been broken in No Cape Man. Previous heroes have defied gravity, physics, and even time. Now the need to wear costumes has been broken, giving No Cape Man the ultimate advantage over villains. Usually it's easy to be a super villain: you just go terrorize some innocent citizens and pretty soon a hero in tights and a cape wearing his underwear outside his pants shows up and says "Stop, fiend!" Then the hero is quickly contested with and a winner is found. But what if the hero looks just like any other citizen?
No Cape Man usually wears a T-shirt, jeans, and street shoes. He blends into crowds even more easily than non-super heroes. When he's going to have a show-down with a major villain he might put on a trench coat and shades, but he pretty much always stays unremarkable. In fact, he is so unremarkable that villains treat him like an ordinary citizen even in the strangest places. If they see No Cape Man wandering around in, say, their underground bunker or space station fortress, they'll still sneer at him and say something like "Ha! Soon I shall destroy your puny world!" and cackle maniacally while trying to capture him to be saved when the super hero arrives. Little do they suspect that the super hero is already here.
No Cape Man does have a sidekick, like any good super hero. His sidekick, Anti-Sidekick Boy, has the very useful ability to cancel out any sidekick. Unfortunately he's currently cancelling himself out.
