SHALACY

Shalacy is making the music scene sit up and take notice...with a raised brow and a knowing twinkle in their eye.

To quote Allen Frizzell, of Frizzell Entertainment, Music row in Nashville, "An exceptional Talent". Shalacy's incredible range and heartfelt emotion make it hard to believe that she's only 12 years old.

In early 1998 Shalacy began performing in public and has maintained a very busy schedule. One of Shalacy's latest performance was at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre, where she was the opening act for 'The Dillards', a.k.a 'The Darlings', at the Mayberry RFD 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Shalacy was also a featured performer at Tennessee Valley State Fair's 80th Anniversary in Knoxville, TN.
Other shows have taken Shalacy to Marion, Illinois for a 3 day performance at the BassMaster's "Bass Quest". Here, she brought over 8,000 fishermen to their feet.
For the third year in a row, Shalacy has performed on the WTXT mainstage at the "International CityFest and Weindorf Celebration" which featured such great artists as Aaron Tippon, Marty Stewart, Patty Loveless, and Billy Ray Cyrus.

Over 400,000 viewers bring Shalacy into their home as a regular on the Alabama Cable Network hit show "The Time of Your Life".

This young lady has also entertained on many occasions for Mercedes Benz International.

Shalacy is currently working on her first CD. Her newest single was just added to the playlist at WETS-FM in Johnson City, TN, which reaches N. East TN, S.West Va. and Western N.Carolina. This single, entitled "The Melungeon Song" has also been placed in the Hillman Library, (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) in the Native American wing archives.

Shalacy also performed the National Anthem at the 1999 SEC Baseball Championship playoff game on May 23 at the Birmingham Baron's Hoover Met Stadium, before a crowd of more than 16,500. You can also find Shalacy regularly performing at the Birmingham International Raceway.

In addition, she was recently featured as the Headline Act at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center for the 1999 Southeastern R.V. Show.

This gifted young vocalist has received countless standing ovations throughout the southeast.
Her first CD, entitled "I Wanna Be Yours" will be released early next year.

Shalacy is solid country when she performs songs from Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Dolly Pardon, The Dixie Chicks and others. However, her vocal range allows her to switch to tunes from Celine Dion to Britney Spears.

When Shalacy picks up the microphone, her mature voice..her bright eyes and her magical smile light up the excitement in any audience.
