The Oak Tree
Back to personal home page....
This site was set up after personal experience of recurring depression. After chatting with other sufferers I decided it would be helpful to set up a resources site containing all sorts of associated book titles, web links and other sources of information, about different types of depression, treatments and medications, therapy and other associated problems and helpful suggestions. I found that learning a bit about depression helped me to cope with my problems, sometimes, it just helps to have somewhere to turn to for help, information and a reminder we're not alone. Just reaching out a hand for help and trying to find a way through your problems seems to me to be the most important, and often, most difficult step to take, but it IS worth it. I hope theres some things here that will help people, suggestions are always welcome. Good Luck to you all!
Love, Amanda.
