Chief Engineer Tsubarov
My opinion? Screw and kill Tsubarov.

If he weren't dead yet.

Is he? Dead, I mean?

Tsubarov was OZ's chief engineer (hence the title Chief Engineer Tsubarov, and a member of the EXCLUSIVE Romefeller Foundation. He developed the mobile dolls and designed the battleship Libra. It doesn't appear if anyone actually LIKED Tsubarov. I mean, who WOULD? Duke Dermail is the only personwho ever spoke him with any ounce of genuine respect.

But, in support of Tsubarov (I kinda feel sorry for him), he never did anything that could exactly be considered 'wrong.' Well...at least, in Romefeller's perspective. He tried to kill the Gundam pilots (Wufei and Duo, who were captured) and the kooky scientists by cutting off their oxygen supply. That, of course, was astute of him, when you look at it in the villain's POV, because they had become a threat to Romefeller. And when Lady Une freed the captives, he shot her too, which was definitely logical, since she'd become a threat as well.

He was a heartless man, but at least he wasn't freakishly insane. There was a method in his madness.

The only things Tsubarov ever displayed any inkling of affection for (if any) was for his brainchild, the mobile dolls. He wasn't simply proud of their design-he was passionately obsessed with them (like I am with Gundam Wing). In his cold eyes, the mobile dolls were the perfect soldiers; they couldn't fail.

Guess what?

They did.
