WELCOME TO AUNT GINA'S PAGE!
This page is a tribute to my aunt Gina, who passed away from cancer in August of 2001.  She was supposed to be the matron of honor at my wedding, and we placed a rose on the altar that day in memory of her.  She was always the kind of person who was always easy going, no matter what life threw at her next, she dealt with it head on.  I see that same quality in my mom.  She battled cancer for 7 years.  She never gave up until her body gave up on her.  I don't think her spirit will ever give up.  I was there the day she passed away, and I don't think I will ever forget that. Now she is with her other 2 boys in Heaven.  Until we meet again......
This is the way I will always remember her.  This was taken at Christmas 3 years before she died.  She had battled cancer off and on for almost 4 years, and could still smile.
This is Chaz, her son.  He has got to be one of the strongest kids I know.  He was his mom's rock.  And she, his.  She raised him while sick, and he understood when her body was too weak from chemo and radiation to do anything.  He did not have it easy growing up, but he is turning out to be a fine young man. Now 15, he lives with his dad and stepmom.
Pictured here, are myself, my brother, and Gina's 2nd son Davie (middle).  Davie had fire engine red hair and a smile to light the entire room.  He went to Heaven at the young age of 5, due to a seizure in his sleep as a result of the brain damage he suffered from.  He would be 18 this year if he were alive,  makes you remember not to take a single moment for granted.
